NATIONAL PRESIDENT
The Commission has taken up the task of preparing the National Action Plan. The Commission constituted a Working Group and an Advisory Committee including representatives of various departments of the Government, NGOs and eminent lawyers to prepare a National Action Plan for Human Rights. The Working Group decided to focus on the following areas which would require a continuous dialogue and discussion before taking an appropriate shape for its documentation in the body of National Action Plan for Human Rights: Human rights education; Criminal justice system - encompassing police , prosecution court etc; Rights of vulnerable (women, children, bonded labour, dalits, elderly, tribals, minorities, disabled etc.); Right to food, water, health and environment; Right to social security Globalization and human rights.
The Working Group has recently decided to prepare draft chapters of the proposed National Action Plan for Human Rights and these chapters will be extensively discussed with the concerned ministries/departments of the Government of India before they are finalized.
The national managing committee should be 7 members including all office bearers as follows: 1. National President, 2. General Secretary, 3. National President [Medical wing], 4. National Secretary (Medical Wing), 5. National Treasurer, 6. Executive Members
National President:
The President shall be the head of the committee, he/she will advise and organize the establishment in discipline, preside over all meetings and will do justice. He will keep copies of all office records, furniture, and documents relates to the association.
National General Secretary:
The National General Secretary will attend office work, correspondence, Issue emergency orders for sake of the administrative convenience, He will conduct meetings; prepare agenda for all meetings for approval. And he can arrange special meetings and audit the accounts. He will keep all office records, furniture, and documents relates to the association.
National President (Medical Wing):
The National President (Youth Wing) shall be the head of the youth wing committee, he/she will control and organize the establishment in discipline, issue emergency orders for sake of the administrative convenience, preside over all meetings and will do justice. He will keep all office records, furniture, and documents relates to the association within his discretion of the organization.
National Secretary (Medical Wing):
Secretary (Youth Wing): The Secretary will attend office work, correspondence. He will conduct meetings; prepare agenda for all meetings for approval. And he can arrange special meetings and audit the accounts.
Treasurer:
The Treasurer will maintain cash account of the funds of the committee, collected subscriptions, donations and grants and shall issue proper receipts, keep the money in Bank which is recommended by the committee.
